NEWS OCTOBER 2006
Ryan Singleton won
the British Super One Championship for Minimax on an Intrepid on the 22nd
October. The final round was held at a soaking wet Buckmore Park in Kent
but both Ryan and the Intrepid Silverstone Pro handled both the rain and
the pressure well.
Qualifying on the
front row, there were tense moments before Ryan took the start due to
starter motor problems. However he took the start eventually and led
away pulling out quite a margin on second place. By half distance all
was looking good until a puncture but Ryan kept his head and drove home
to finnish and win the Championship. Ryan's delighted Father Paul said
afterwards ' if anyone deserved to Win the Championship this year it
was Ryan. He kept his head and had no negativity what ever was thrown
at him and that is why he has done so well'.

Marcus
Allen won the Junior TKM Super One Championship with
a win in the final round at Shennington on 8th October. He won
driving the JKH V4 chassis on which he has dominated the junior
class in 2006.
JKH
had a fantastic record breaking weekend in addition to the Championship
win in Junior TKM. It is the first Super One round where a manufacturer
has won all three classes with 1st and 2nd in
Junior TKM, 1st and 2nd in Intermediate TKM and 1st, 2nd and 3rd
in TKM Extreme. The JKH V4 chassis is obviously the class of the
field.
